The hotel seems to meet basic expectations, which is somewhat reassuring.

My stay was incredibly frustrating. The first night, I discovered my linens were stained and unclean, which made me feel utterly disgusted and unsafe. The staff's inability to communicate effectively only added to my agony, leaving me without the support I desperately needed while navigating a new city. This level of cleanliness is unacceptable for any establishment.

the mercure is conveniently located near the euro star gare du nord station, making it easy to explore. roderick at the front desk was welcoming and helpful, giving great breakfast recommendations. the breakfast buffet was delightful, with plenty of tasty options that made my mornings enjoyable.

It was just an excellent fit for a fleeting moment in Paris with best value. The little balcony overlooking the train tracks was a nice touch. Be cautious about the morning hours. the area can feel a bit shady at times.
